Croquis-drawing in Becoming Modern
Join us for a croquis-drawing session in the Becoming Modern exhibition. Explore the folds and forms of the human body through drawing – surrounded by works by some of the most celebrated artists in Danish art history.
Croquis is a drawing practice in which a subject is sketched in just a few minutes.
Artist at Kunsten Stella Suhr will guide you through drawing exercises of varying lengths. She will challenge you with creative challenges and inspire to experiment with different styles and drawing techniques, all while the model takes up a series of poses.
This time, the Becoming Modern exhibition provides the setting. Here, we can gather inspiration from artists such as Anna Ancher, Vilhelm Lundstrøm and Asger Jorn, each of whom experimented with colour, form and composition in their own unique way. With art history as our backdrop, we will try to capture the shapes and movements of the body on paper.
Before or after the session, you can enjoy a glass of wine in Brasserie Kunsten, browse the selection of drawing materials in the museum shop, or explore the many exhibitions.
End your evening with style at Brasserie Kunsten, and select from a menu inspired by the season. We recommend booking a table in advance.
